Midwest Fur Fest evacuated by chemical spill. Fursuiters: stick to good old fashioned rug cleaner! 

Initial report: Chemical leak prompts evacuation during Midwest FurFest at Rosemont Hyatt.

Several people could be seen in animal costumes waiting outside of the hotel. Ambulances from area suburbs were on scene helping transport people.

‘Wizard of Oz’ Cowardly Lion costume sells for more than $3 million at auction.

The auction in New York City will raise money for owner James Comisar’s Museum of TV. Actor Bert Lahr played the Cowardly Lion in 1939’s “The Wizard of Oz”.  Watch for an article about expensive fursuit sales soon.  Drop a comment if you have any tails to tell!

Animated Paddington Bear movie reviewed.

It gives a naughty wink about concern over supposed “innuendo” in the movie, with an awful sex reference to Last Tango in Paris.  Journalists Ruin Everything?

Amazing fursuit of Kaltag from Balto triggers massive urge to hug.

I LOVE posting unique and gutsy activities of Furries out and about in the world, especially Street Fursuiting.  Keenora has a familiar fluffy face for this.  I last posted his Fursuit Bungee Jumping in Germany.  Also see his popular skydiving video.  Today, here’s a meet he participated in: “Sinterklaasintocht Fursuit Parade.” As a third annual outing, it’s apparently getting to be a loved tradition for Dutch furs.  Here’s a photo gallery from their previous outing in 2013.
