Nazi-furry sex offender Jacob Kovar loses in court, but is still shielded by Colorado furry groups

A meritless case to remove a felony conviction.
Youtube’s Law Talk With Mike has a lawyer who covers silly antics in court, often by self-represented (Pro Se) Sovereign Citizens who make fools of themselves.
In August 2026, the channel featured a furry named Jacob Kovar.
Kovar had a long record as a repeat felon who kept making furry news. He helped to run the Furry Raiders nazi-furry group while bouncing in and out of jail. In 2019, Dogpatch Press was credited in an arrest warrant for Kovar, for reporting him for witness intimidation that targeted Dogpatch Press as well.
The 2026 court date was right after Kovar finished jail time that Dogpatch Press helped him to get. Kovar was representing himself to get that crime taken off his record. Fresh out of jail, he was trying to deny responsibility and undo justice for the victims.
The two-hour video explains why he lost and how the law works.
Kovar had a meritless case that no lawyer would take. His legal knowledge sounds like it came from ChatGPT. He called witnesses for his side who didn’t want to help him, and their testimony hurt his claims. At one point, Kovar failed to have documents filed, and had to show them to the judge on his laptop:

You have to know the agenda behind Kovar’s denial of responsibility. Predators and con artists love to manipulate and deny what they do.
When Kovar helped to run the Furry Raiders, he delighted in trolling with fake identities. In 2019, he supported gay fascist Milo Yiannopoulos in a scheme to get the Proud Boys to attack Midwest Furfest. These fascists had intentions for terrorist violence.
They crave power to manipulate without consequences.
2019: Furry Raiders admin “Sneps” was Kovar
Going to court to wiggle out of consequences was more of the same.
Kovar’s case tried to shift blame to another Furry Raiders group runner, Lee “Foxler” Miller. Kovar admitted to the court that the group he joined was a “criminal organization“. (As it was always reported by Dogpatch Press; thanks for helping!) He also claimed that Foxler is still under criminal investigation.
His failed legal theory was that Foxler forced him to do crime by “human trafficking”, because he enjoyed Foxler’s support while doing it.
Kovar wasn’t forced. The court made it clear that trafficking requires an element of impossible debt, but he failed to show any. He could only complain about his life unrelated to and after taking support. Supporting someone’s lifestyle isn’t force.
Law Talk with Mike calls Kovar a willing prostitute, and says: “literally anybody who’s employed is being ‘trafficked’ by the logic of this guy.”
In the words of a lawyer.
Kovar was making excuses for voluntary crime that he could have quit doing at any time.
It was crocodile tears. Remorse for being busted. The offender playing the victim.
It’s the agenda that the Furry Raiders group was made for. Being malicious, shifting blame, and playing victim so they can do it again.
If you’ve seen Kovar’s record, you can bet that he didn’t even care about losing and wasting the court’s time. It was theater to get himself back in good with furry groups. A trial for public opinion, at least from echo chambers that still let him in. A stunt to impress friends who fall for excuses.
Kovar’s enablers, and his record of sex offending.
Some Colorado furry groups and leaders have been falling for Kovar’s lies and shielding him. That includes lies that failed in court, and lies about his record.
These enablers do not care about the community.
The community deserves to know what they don’t want you to know.
Let’s look at the facts of Kovar’s record.
(1) Child sex offending.
Last decade, Kovar was charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Child-Video/20+ items as well as Sex Assault on a Child.
A cop said that in a 2019 affadavit for a warrant to arrest Kovar for more offenses:
Kovar now lies that he didn’t have those charges, hoping it can’t be verified, because the case is sealed.
Why is it sealed? It came through the Department of Youth Corrections (see below.)
1+1=2: he assaulted a child while he was under 18.
We can’t see the record, but a cop can, who said it in his 2019 affadavit for a warrant to arrest Kovar.
These legal docs about Kovar were obtained by a journalist request to a Colorado court. It required:
- Mailing a paper check to the court
- Waiting weeks to receive paper documents from the court
- Scanning dozens of pages into one file and uploading it for news reporting
- Protecting the file from takedown attempts with multiple mirror copies.
Kovar and his enablers can’t deny that he did jail time, but they deny it was for sex offending. However, you can go get the record the same way. Dogpatch Press just did the work for you. Dare you to fact-check it.
There’s reasons to seal a youth’s record if they change as an adult. There’s also reasons to report it, when they don’t change and keep lying about it.
(2) More crime in jail in 2017.
In 2017, Kovar was charged with:
INTRODUCING CONTRABAND 2ND DEGREE, POSSESSION OF CONTRABAND 2ND DEGREE, COMPUTER CRIME, DYC HOLD.
“Introducing” means bringing contraband INTO jail: Colorado § 18-8-204. This indicates he was already in jail for previous crime. Repeat: ALREADY in jail for something else.
DYC HOLD is Department of Youth Corrections. That’s why the previous crime was sealed.
1+1=2: These charges corroborate the 2019 affadavit that called him a previously-convicted sex offender.
(3) Sex offending again in 2019 with fake identities.
Here’s Kovar’s actions after he got out on parole for the above charges. He met Foxler and joined the Furry Raiders as one of its leaders. Meanwhile he lied about being a “navy veteran” to excuse being away in jail, and operated a series of false identities.
Some of Kovar’s identities: Flare, Sneps, Dodger, Wrex Nova, and Legoshep (current identity).
As “Dodger”, he became Head of Security for Wyoming furry convention Furever West. At the same time he used several more fake identities, posing as underage boys, to carry out a criminal scheme for the Furry Raiders.
In 2019, Furry Raider runner Foxler had been charged for sex offending with a child.
Kovar schemed to intimidate a witness to ruin the case against Foxler. With his fake young boy identities, he targeted the witness for sexual extortion. He also sent fake documents about the witness to police (the charge he failed to get off his record in 2026.) His Dodger identity targeted Dogpatch Press with hope to cause false reporting against the witness. Instead, Dogpatch Press reported Kovar to police, which helped police to arrest him.
Doing crime on parole earned a slew of charges, including Invasion of privacy for sexual gratification, making him a repeat sex offender.
(4) Repeatedly breaking parole, and being a felon with guns
In 2025, Kovar was released on parole again. He had friends keeping accounts active for him for years. Now he could get back online when he wasn’t supposed to, with his Wrex Nova account.
His parole-breaking activity as Wrex Nova put him back in jail again in 2025.
It happened with group enabling.
After serving out his previous sentence, he was released in 2026, and went back to the same enablers again.
Now he’s using new identity Legoshep. A watcher says: “This guy goes through fursonas like he goes through Q-tips”.
Kovar’s Telegram account
Kovar’s Legoshep identity is already generating news tips. Watchers sent videos to Dogpatch Press.
They show the freshly-released felon at a shooting range, and handling a gun at a furry house party. State and federal law restricts felons from using guns.

Kovar’s enablers
When Kovar came back from jail, some of his long-time enablers threw a party with him.
Kovar’s boyfriend, Alexander “Aru” Chemanaev, posted the announcement.
Gelly Bonkers, who has chaired Wyoming’s Furever West convention, co-hosted the party with Kovar.
A sex party was run with a repeat convicted sex offender who sexually extorted a victim.
Does Kovar’s new @Legoshep identity keep people unaware of his record?
Gelly’s association is telling.
Gelly’s Furever West was the con where Kovar was made Head of Security as “Dodger” while he carried out his 2019 witness intimidation scheme. Kovar used the color of authority from Gelly’s con to commit crime as “Dodger”. Gelly was notified in 2019 that his Head of Security was arrested. Gelly said Kovar was fired, while playing unaware, and gave lip service to separating him from the con.
On the day Kovar posted his shooting range video, Gelly posted one from the same range.
Colorado furry group runners have been shielding a repeat sex offender through a decade of crime.
